On the edge of the Rudninkai forest, where old pine trees whisper their secrets, and bees dance above the flowering plants in the meadows of the Merkys River, nature has been generous and testing at the same time this year. Spring came slowly, the cold years dragged on, and frosts struck even when raspberries and other honey-bearing spring plants were blooming. The bees patiently waited for the warmth, collecting nectar from every wave of flowers they encountered – forest flowers, wild meadow plants, and sun-kissed inflorescences. Every drop of this honey is not only sweetness, but also a story about endurance, perseverance, the rhythm of nature, and the silent flow of life between the forest and the river.
